Ushers

The Ushers at St. Mary Parish are responsible for the good order in the Liturgical Celebration. Ushers meet and greet the people at the door, lead them to their places and to Communion stations, hand out bulletins, and take up collections. They check lights, candles, and reserve places if required, are available to help the handicapped and the sick, select people to present gifts, straighten things in Church for the next Mass, and secure the Church after Mass.

St. Mary Ushers are sponsored by St. Mary Men’s Club. Anyone, men or women, 18 years or older, who would like to serve in this capacity should see one of the priests of the parish, one of the ushers, or contact John Vecchiolla, Chairman, at (203)531-4229.
